Rimon Won a Mega Drilling Contract

Rimon Group signed a contract with IDE, the ‘Sorek’ 2 desalination facility concessionaire, for the delivery of drilling and water pipeline laying works.

Contract’s value is estimated at $USD 150,000,000. The works, which will be delivered by Rimon together with its Spanish partner Terratest Group, include drilling both at inshore and offshore and laying sea water intake & outtake pipeline to and from the desalination facility with a total length of 8 kilometers. Parts of the pipeline will be placed 15 meters below water.

The works are expected to commence during 2021 and to be completed within 24 months.
