Following Israel’s Electricity Authority’s decision to allocate generation capacity of 450MW to private companies and to allow them generating electricity, which is not their core business but which need this energy for their ongoing operations, Rimon Energy began building and operating power plants for various clients by implementing an attractive business model for its clients and also for itself. Rimon builds, finances and generates electricity and steam while its clients enjoy lower energy costs by reaching 70% energy efficiency.
Emanuel Katan, Rimon Energy’s CEO explains that Rimon’s expertise includes mastering regulatory issues, which ease the process of building company’s power plants, and company’s ability to generate electricity within the premises of manufacturers and factories. Emanuel adds that Rimon began focusing also on energy storage projects.
